The Duvet + Bed Pillow Inserts collection at Lulu and Georgia brings the right fill to every bed—from lightweight down alternative options to classic Everyday Down inserts. The collection includes the PrimaLoft® Down Alternative Pillow Insert (from $78), PrimaLoft® Down Alternative Duvet Insert (from $248), Everyday Down Pillow Insert (from $158), and the Everyday Down Duvet Insert (from $398)—each engineered for warmth, loft, and long-lasting performance under Lulu and Georgia's duvet covers and shams.
What duvet and pillow inserts does Lulu and Georgia carry?
Lulu and Georgia carries two types of bed inserts: PrimaLoft® Down Alternative, a hypoallergenic synthetic fill that mimics the softness and loft of down without animal products or allergens (duvet from $248, pillow insert from $78); and Everyday Down, a classic down-fill option with natural warmth and breathability (duvet from $398, pillow insert from $158). Both are available in standard pillow, king pillow, and full/queen or king duvet sizes.
What is the difference between PrimaLoft down alternative and Everyday Down inserts?
PrimaLoft® Down Alternative inserts use a high-performance synthetic fill that replicates the feel of down while remaining fully hypoallergenic and machine washable—ideal for allergy sufferers or those who prefer animal-free bedding. Everyday Down inserts use natural down fill for a traditional softness and warmth-to-weight ratio that many sleepers prefer. Both provide excellent loft and comfort; the choice comes down to personal preference, allergy considerations, and care requirements.
What size duvet insert do I need?
For a full/queen bed, choose a full/queen duvet insert sized 88x92 inches or larger—a generous size ensures the duvet drapes over both sides of the mattress. For a king bed, a king-size insert (104x90 inches or larger) is standard. When in doubt, size up: an oversized insert creates a full, plush drape that looks more luxurious than a fitted one. Pair with any Lulu and Georgia duvet cover in the corresponding size for a complete bedding setup.
